Clay Bassett has been Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer since April 2008. Prior thereto, Mr. Bassett was Chief Underwriting Officer of Folksamerica Re from 2005 to 2008. He has also held various management positions with Argonaut Group from 2002 to 2005, Swiss Re from 1997 to 2002 and AIG from 1990 to 1997. Mr. Bassett began his career at National Reinsurance Corp in 1987.
